The establishment of churches depends heavily on healthy leadership.  The struggles of ministry are best handled when shared with others who have traveled the path of service already.  Generations International serves the servants by mentoring and encouraging them as they minister.  By strengthening pastors and their wives, they effectively multiply church planting efforts all around the world.

Jim & Sharon Smith were missionaries to Ecuador from 1978 to 2008.  They established a church in the capital city, Quito, and then a Bible Institute.  Over the years many pastors and Christian leaders have been trained and sent out.  Recently, Jim has served as an associate director at the BBFI Mission Office.
