Memorial Day Thoughts

We need remember to honor our Soldiers who have died protecting our freedoms. Over 100,000 American war dead are buried on foreign soil. Colin Powell said, “The United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond its borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.”

We should also remember to honor our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who died so that we could be Spiritually free. This freedom comes, however, only when we chose to accept it.
